My 16.5” BBS 41 RM should get to my dealer in the next couple of days and I’m eager to get it. I already have some ammo, reloading dies, brass, bullets, and powder. I have had the same rifle in .357 mag for about a year and it is a wonderful little carbine. I used it last season to kill 3 whitetails and figure the 41 is just more of a good thing. I will be using a Vortex Venom for sighting. It has worked well on the 357 keeping it light and handy. Kudos to Henry for making these handy little carbines and especially for keeping the 41 alive.

Glad you and your new Henry BBS .41 have come aboard the Forum, Tnman. But keep that .357 Mag at the ready....with 3 whitetails harvested in one season, that Carbine need not get away! ;) I have the BBS .357 Carbine, too.....like you said, a fine rifle.

Enjoy your time here wandering the Forums. Lots of good posts, and brought along by friendly Folk.

first, welcome to the forum, delighted to have you join us .... thanks for posting your hunting experience with your 357 .... as you look through various threads already on this forum, you will see a good number of questions addressing the effectiveness of a 357 as a deer hunting rifle .... in addressing this from your personal experience, you have contributed some really valuable info .... please take a look at our How Many ? thread (link below) and add your 357 and 41 to our community's total

The 41 is alive and well at my house. One of my favorite calibers for sure. Welcome from Colorado

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Congrats on your first Henry, your second Henry and welcome to the forum.

I'm about to do my first deer season with the BBS 357 (rifle), so I'd be interested in your stories about last year with yours. Distances, ammo, conditions, etc. Anything that comes to mind would be great. Just post it over in "Hunting/Big Game" so we don't gum up the works here in New Member Intros!
