Hey everyone,
Just picked up my first Henry and first lever action.
Henry Long Ranger 223.
Not new to firearms. Background in research, fabrication, reverse engineering, etc.
I'll post my questions soon.
Thanks
David

That Long Ranger .223 is a very nice start to your Henry rifle collection.
Glad to have you join the Forum.
P.S. Adding this edit. I'm certain you have probably watched the "Henry TV" video produced last year on your model Henry. It was one of my favorites as 2017 was an exciting year during which Henry released so many new model rifles and shotguns. Anyway, here is that link. Sure did like the final group shot for this accuracy demo. Cool rifle!

Thanks for the video link.
Looking forward to conversations here.
I chose the Henry over the BLR due to the BLR being more complicated and having a slow twist rate. The Henry has a slower twist rate than I like but not many other choices.
I'll post thoughts and range reports as I go.
Again, thanks.
