New from the hills of San Diego

Post by Lyman » Fri Jun 22, 2018 9:57 am

Thanks for the help Dave! I had a little trouble getting in here and Dave gave me a hand. I just bought a new .22 Lever H001 and thought I better join up here and learn a little. I have owned guns all my life but never owned a Henry. I lost my collection back in 2006 due to a house fire and have been trying to slowly build it back up. I am more of a plinker than anything. I enjoy shooting as much as I can. Not a range kind of guy, I shoot out in the hills as it is a lot more to my liking.

Welcome to the forum from CT, Lyman. Daytime Dave is indeed very helpful; among other things, he's an Eagle Scout who exemplifies the Boy Scout Pledge. You'll enjoy the company here.

_WELCOME!_.jpg
Greetings from the Show-Me-State!

Lyman, shooting that new H001 "out in the hills" sounds like the best way to go!
Enjoy your time in the Forum threads, too. There is good stuff to learn. ;)

Welcome!

I enjoy shooting out in the hills, too, but where I am, I have to wait for fire restrictions to be lifted. Monsoons should start soon and that'll take care of it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thanks for the Welcome! My oldest Son and I are headed out first thing in the morning to go shooting. Looks like it's gonna be a good day for it. Headed out towards the desert before it gets too hot. We will hit the road at 5am.
