I'm new to Henry's but not new to firearms. My Big Boy in 44 mag will delivered in a couple days and I am looking forward to putting rounds down range. I have a Marlin 1895 SBL, which has a very smooth action, and I am waiting to see if the Henry action is as smooth. Will be checking out the reloading section and see what works for others.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

I think you will find the action on the Henry is as smooth as a Marlin. Welcome from Colorado . Once you receive your Henry please visit our running total thread How Many and add it to our totals. Thanks Al

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Let us know what action you take in deciding about the two guns' actions.
Have fun at the range with the new Big Boy. And everyone would like to see photos of your rifles; maybe a family portrait.

my oooooops .... actually, when I typed that I was still thinking about a different thread where he had mentioned the How Many ? thread .... as a result, I had one of those moments when my mind wasn't on the right track .... now days that seems to happen more and more often .. .. to me its really nice to see others referring new folks to it .... at the rate we are going crossing the 1,000 mark isn't too many months awayCofisher wrote:BigAl, you’re my favorite
