Hello from Pennsylvania.
Thank you to the admin.
Recently purchased the Henry All Weather 45-70. Beautiful rifle.
My eyes are getting old so the 1st order of business is fiber optic sights.

Welcome from Nebraska. That is a great rifle you got. Looking forward to hearing your experience with it.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome from the Show-Me-State, Rustbelt.
As you wrote, there are a number of Forum Folk who also have or are taking care of "the 1st order of business." So you'll have available those who might have answers to any of your questions with this pursuit.
I'm with you as I recently got a long gun equipped with a rear ghost-ring sight and front green fiber-optic sight. Suits my elder eyes really well!
Congrats on your Henry All Weather 45-70...it's a sharp-looking rifle!
Enjoy.

Re: Hello from PA
welcome indeed .... congrats on your first Henry .... I'm looking forward to your range and use reports .... we have a Henry Color Case Hardened 45-70 that is truly a fine rifle .... in a way, it has a split personality .. .. load it to the max and it can kick like a mule, while doing so it can take down any critter on the North American Continent; as well as, all of Africa's "Big 6" .... load it with Cowboy Action level ammo and it can be truly fun to fire .... please take a look at our How Many ? thread (link below) and add your Henry to our community total .... as you add to your collection, please revisit that thread and add them

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
