Hello from a new member!

Post by Mild Bill » Sat Mar 31, 2018 3:29 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself to all the members of the forum. I just purchased my first Henry and I couldn't be happier!
I not was expecting to have the funds to purchase, so when my bonus this year was more than expected, and the accountant (The Wife to all you married guys) agreed, I went shopping.. I had been looking at the rimfire Henry rifles, thought it would be in the budget and I love me a .22!
So you can imagine my excitement, I had been drooling over the centerfire rifles so purchasing one was like being a kid at Christmas!
I was able to get a GREAT deal on MY Big Boy Carbine in .357. It is arriving Wed. at my local FFL and I can hardly wait, I have been looking for anything Henry related and discovered this forum and knew I had to be a member. I live in California ( boo) in a rural area- farmlands (yeaa) and have been shooting my whole life. I am really looking forward to enjoying my Henry with my father and son. I believe it is the finest rifle I will ever own
and someday it will be my son's and on and on.

P.S When I told my dad I had purchased a Henry, he vowed to get one ( after turning green- he has always loved every Henry he's held)

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome from the Show-Me-State. Your choice of the Henry .357 Magnum in a carbine model is excellent, and it will be a very fun rifle to have and shoot. And a great part of your upcoming Henry ownership is that you said you'll share the BB with your father & son. That will make three new happy Henry shooters! ;)
