Hello from Edmonton, Alberta

Post by bobtodrick » Sat Mar 17, 2018 6:57 pm

Got my (our...spend most time shooting with my sons, 14 & 17 years) Henry, an H001 a year ago.
Love it...quickly became one of our favorite rimfires (and we do have a few) because it is just so much fun.
This year my boys want to start hunting, so I told them if they did well in school they would each get their own centerfire.
Both are honors students. The oldest wanted our Mossberg .308 bolt gun. But the youngest is an old soul (shoots an English longbow against his brothers compound) so I bit the bullet (so to speak) and bought him an H009b.
He's ecstatic, and when we took it out to the range last week (it is brand new), once I tried it I joked he was going to have to fight me for it.
Otherwise, I've been in the photography/optics biz for over 30 years...we're avid campers and hunters...and we are now diehard Henry people.
Well...two of us at least.

Welcome from along the southern end of the Rockies in Colorado. Shooting with your sons will last forever. Nice to see fathers still do that.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
