Howdy

Post by Barnaclepete » Mon Mar 12, 2018 1:55 pm

Greetings from Louisiana! I don’t own a Henry....yet....I’m in the process of getting a Uberti Cattleman traded in for a Frontier in .22lr. I’m having problems in my neighborhood with certain feral....Cartier’s and need something with more punch and accuracy than my ruger impact air rifle and my wife is starting to get interested in learning to shoot a rifle. Hopefully next week I’ll have my Henry.

Welcome aboard, trading in a great revolver for any firearm would be hard for me to do. But Henry makes a very fine rifle. Still a hard decision to make. I might be tempted to keep the Cattleman and sell some blood and plasma.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thanks guys! It’s the old model Cattleman, and I have trouble with those narrow sights. I love that gun, but I can’t hit shineola with it and since there is no public land in this durned state, I can’t get out and shoot it enough to not need the sights.
