Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
Hi from NW Ohio
Hi from NW Ohio
I just found this forum today. We have owned Henry's for many years. My wife has a Golden Boy with a tang sight and the most beautiful wood I've seen on a .22, thanks to Anthony as it was a Christmas present years ago. We both have H001s, mine with a tang sight. I also have a pump with a Skinner aperture rear sight and an AR7 that I keep handy in a bag. Everything is in .22 and they all shoot very well with anything I run through them. I've been a Henry booster for a long time. I recently had my nephew, a combat veteran infantryman who served in Somalia, out to the range and when he started handling my H001 and pump, he was like a kid in a candy store. My wife can outshoot me anytime but she prefers pistols. I will hang around and try to learn something but will only speak up if I have something to contribute.

Greetings & Welcome from the Midwest, becken.
Ask your wife to come aboard, and we'll compare the range reports between the two of you.
BTW, I speak up on this friendly even though sometimes I don't think I contribute. So far, the good folk here have let me stay around.
Enjoy your visits.

Welcome from Alberta! Been to the Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus a couple of times, once in the 80's and again in the 90's. Very nice city.
