Another new member here (looks like a great community) and first time Henry owner. I just picked up a Big Boy Steel rifle in 45 Colt, and am looking forward to heading to the range in the morning to to get acquainted!

I don't hand load yet, but am actively researching what is involved, and suspect I will in the very near future. Looks like 45 Colt is a fairly easy cartridge to start with too!

Yes, it is, a good reloading manual is a good place to start. As you're going to need one for data anyway, and most have a section with an introduction and basic knowledge with the steps.
