Tks for adding me. New member here. I have a friend that’s wanting to trade me a Henry 22 lever action for one of my nylon 66. I had a mini stroke and I have some numbness on right side of my body. I needed info on how smooth the lever action is and your options on this please. Tks

Welcome to the forum. Those Henry 22s are smooth as glass. If it was me Id keep the Nylon 66 and buy the Henry outright. The Nylon 66 has some value to it.

What Al said. Henry 22’s can be found locally for less than $400 and Nylon 66’s are very hard to come by.

Welcome to the forum!
I am not familiar with the Nylon 66, but I CAN speak about how smooth the Henry 22's are.
Good luck whatever decision you make!

I have one of the silver nylon 66's that I'd gladly trade for any new or close to new Henry .... the 66 is semiautomatic which may or not be an advantage for someone like the original poster

Welcome to the forum. I'm with Al on this one too. The Henry is smooth and a good shooter but you might be better off buying new. The Nylon 66s are a bit scarce around here.
