Welcome to the forum Monster! Thinking that .44 won't be your only Henry. Anyways, stick around and enjoy the place. Good group of folks here.

That's a lot of levers. So many how do you find time to shoot them?

I guess it is,quite a few, and it is hard to shoot them all like they deserve.
Some day I'll have more free time and will hopefully get to truly enjoy them as I should.
But I also have there grandsons and one granddaughter, with another on the way.
Hoping some will have an interest.

Five of those have killed a lot of deer,
and hoping to add a couple more to that group here in the next month and a half.

They don't depreciate a lot, if any and some are worth more than I have in them.
Some people collect silver & gold I collect firearms, lead & brass. ;)

PS. Sorry for the drift OP, hope our ramble doesn't discourage you.
Hopefully you will let us know of your thoughts after that first time at the range.

Congratulations on the new Henry. I had a Henry .44 Mag for a few years then got an offer I couldn't refuse. I promised myself I'd buy another one. I bought a few Marlins this summer / fall and was all set to get a 3rd Marlin. My New Henry 44 big boy should be here next week! I have the skinner sights encounter from Montana as well.

Here in Arizona lever guns have been around for over a century it registers in the blood of the born and raised here, i tried the marlins with there side loading gates and i thought the tube loaders would even be worse but have become very fond of 12 round magazines threw the tube if anything can get past that i will gladly give up
