Somehow, quiche got a bad rap in the 80s (or was it the 70s?), and I hadn't made/had any for years, but it turned out great. Pretty easy and pretty much all the food groups, right?
In the 70's, it went from a manly (western cowboy/camping) breakfast "scrambled egg pie" with ham/bacon, onions, potatoes & cheese to "quiche" when the womanz found out the Europeans had been making it for centuries for any meal with spinach, broccoli, artichoke hearts, tofu, etc.
