well, there aren't many things that we eat and enjoy that we haven't grilled on our Holland Companion .... earlier today we drove over to Kroger located in Willis. TX ..... simply put it is an outstanding grocery store .... today we grilled lobster tails for the first time ... based on a simple internet search we chose this recipe ===> https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/gri ... ter-tails/ .... we followed both its preparation instructions and their list of ingredients .... realizing how easy it is to overcook seafood, we dialed our Companion back to about half way between low and medium .... at that setting and opening the grill twice to baste the lobster tails, it took about 25 minutes to grill them .... given the opportunity, we'd really enjoy doing this again

after finding out that we were one ingredient short for making the marinade for the Hawaiian Chicken we want to serve tomorrow night when our gunsmith and his wife come over to deliver some rifles and shotguns he's been working on for us, we drove back over to the Kroger in Willis, TX .... their one day sale on lobster tails had been extended for a day so we picked up some more .. 8-) .. to mix things up a bit, instead of surf and turf, we decided to go with pond and pen .... for the pond component, we grilled lobster tails following the same recipe in the link .... for the pen component we grilled a piece of pork loin, sliced it into thick chops and covered it with my wife's homemade sauce .... we are now settled in for the evening .... life's good .. ;)

Lobster tails are about my favorite surf food....yours look great, Jim.
An enjoyable dinner for me is having the lobster nestled in a rice pilaf, surrounded by mixed veggies, or just a batch of asparagus seasoned and cooked in olive oil. Cannot beat such good food! :)

Good thing I already ate this evening. Otherwise, I'd be mouth water hungry!
