this one is really simple and really good :
Picture 1 .... Pam the heck out of the pan and place the chicken breast (or whatever cut you like)
Picture 2 .... cover the chicken with thick layer of Ranch Dressing
Picture 3 .... cover the Ranch with cut, thin bacon strips in half .... we used 3 of the half strips on each breast .... secure with toothpicks to keep the bacon from sliding
Picture 4 .... preheat oven to 400 and bake for at least 40 minutes
Picture 5 .... about 5 minutes before it is done, cover with thick coat of shredded cheese
Picture 6 .... on the plate
most definitely will be fixed often

Re: Bacon and Ranch Chicken
I made it today. I made my own Ranch dressing and used shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and I used a bit more bacon (two full slices, cut in half) than it required for one chicken breast (which we share), but we both enjoyed it very much. Thanks.

Re: Bacon and Ranch Chicken
Very nice-looking dish, JEBar -- looks good enough to eat!
We really like chicken meals. I grilled a chicken filet this evening, JEBar, but didn't look half as tasty as yours (the corn and salad sides also look yummy). Anyway, on my filet the only "dressing" was a dash of Mrs. Dash. Tasted just fine, though.
But since I like chicken so much, I plan to go for your recipe soon.
Thanks.
