No recipe and no cooking tips. But I did make bacon and maple style beans for supper. On toast. A cowboy classic!

Get some pork belly sliced about 1/16" to 1/8" thick for that. Much better than packaged bacon, and leaner. Use it anyplace you would use bacon, you just need to slice off the skin. It's also about 1/2 the price of bacon. We quit buying that prepackaged bacon years ago. :)
