Re: Vidalia Onions
We may occasionally get Vidalias but being in Washington State, Walla Walla Sweets are more more common.

Walla Walla sweets are the best. I think there better than the Vidalias by a long ways. We rarely see them here anymore. I wish I could get them. They are great on Bacon lettuce tomato and yes onion sandwiches.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Vidalia Onions
I'd never heard of Walla Walla Sweets until a year or so ago .... tried them last summer while we were in South Dakota .... they are good but if I had to pick between the two, I'd still have to go with Vidalia .. ... a thick slice of a Vidalia between a couple of slices of bread with Mayo, is mighty good all on its own

My wife gives me a hard time about an onion sammich for lunch, but it's a lot less calories than the two inch thick monster she's eating. I love em, and I like tomato sammiches, and crisp cuke ones too.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Re: Vidalia Onions
I do like sweet onions but have to admit I've never tried an onion only sandwich.

Re: Vidalia Onions
there are sweet onions and then there are Videlia onions .... if an onion has a bite, I won't use it in a sandwich
