Cool. Gotta look for some of those. When the weather warms up a bit, I need to get my oven out and cook some stuff in it.

Very basic recipe for the Dutch oven:

Turkey Chili
1 lb ground turkey
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can pinto beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
1 packet taco seasoning
1 onion, diced

Heat a few teaspoons of olive oil in the Dutch oven and brown the onion (five minutes until brown)

Add the ground turkey and break up with wooden spoon while cooking turkey. Should cook through in four to five minutes.

After turkey is cooked, add all remaining ingredients (Undrained cans! Need the liquid)

Bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer for about 20 minutes until liquid thickens.

Serve with shredded cheddar or sour cream.

I just made this last night and it was great. Got the recipe from my mother in law. Feeds about four to six people.

we've tried cutting and serving with ice cream or butter while hot and it is OK but we've learned that this cake is best when given a chance to sit overnight .... the pineapple juices have time to soak in evenly, that really seems to accentuate the taste

Here's a good simple cheese bread recipe.
3 cups of bread flour
1 3/4 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp yeast
1 1/2 cups of water
1/4 cup of shredded cheese

Mix all the fixing in a bowl. Cover and let rise for 8 hours.
Bake at 400 for 30 minutes, remove Dutch oven lid and continue baking for 10 minues.
