PT7 -- First photo shooting my Trapper

Post by PT7 » Wed Mar 25, 2020 12:15 am

Tonight I received my Ft. Osage Muzzleloader Newsletter from the last shooting event we had in November, 2019. The newsletter highlighted the Indian Summer Shoot. The November weather was nothing like an Indian summer. It was a beautiful sunny day, but very cold. 54 people showed up for this year-end shoot.

I was quite surprised looking through the photos. Unknown to me the Club's photographer took a picture of me making smoke with my .50 CAL Trapper. It is extremely rare to have a picture of me at any range since I often go by myself.

So this is neither a range report, nor commentary about my BP pistol. Only this picture showing my Trapper making smoke and me handling the shot recoil. :D Fun reminder of a good day doing some outdoor shooting.

What a great surprise to be thumbing through the pages of a Newsletter and finding an action photo of you enjoying yourself at the range. That's just too cool! Thanks for sharing it with us.

What a great pic! Frame-worthy, I'd say! Would look great in your basement "gun-shop" area!

Cool idea, Evan....thanks for that. I no longer have a printer, and with the local library closed, can't use their printer to get a copy of this picture. But I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind to hang it up in the "gun shop."

And how did I miss it, Mr. Deputy Marshall?!? When did that promotion and salary increase happen? Good timing since your Parks & Rec p/t gig has ended. Let the $$$ keep rollin' in :!:  :!:

Bob, sent you a PM, so check it out and let me know.

Happy to help in this role as D.M. The pay pales in comparison to the benefits package, by the way! It's beyond compare!

It was that Chuck Conners avatar that sealed the deal.
