...you guys are pushing me toward black powder shooting...hadn't planned on packing a Hawken on my saddle....
Hey RR what are the laws in Canada with blackpowder gun purchases. Down here no FFL paperwork and they can be sent to your front door.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Depends on what is classified as restricted or non-restricted I think.

Pretty sure I could buy a Hawken rifle online if it was sold and shipped in Canada. Handgun maybe not.

haha....I hear ya. The only one happening this year will be the high wall, maybe a Walker is in the cards next year. Don't know if I'd go black powder though, maybe a conversion cylinder in it to shoot 45 Colt.

Re: Traditions Trapper Finished Loading Stand

Here are a couple photos of stand. Except for snapping a planer chain on the mystery wood base, which turned out to be petrified white oak, all went well. It will fold flat when not in use. Will add some padding in saddle.

Good looking stand. Should do the trick.

Does it fit well for your son's CVA, too? Knew you were planning to build one to fit both pistols.
