I've owned many Pietta guns and they all shoot good but show early wear . [ in pic below ] If you do a lot of shooting get the Uberti the fit and finish is must better and the parts are heat treated perfect and don't wear out . I don't know if Pietta has improved in the last 10 yrs .

Many years ago I had a Ruger Old Army .45 it was an awesome shooter wish I still had it.

Hey TGR thanks for dropping by the thread! Appreciate the post about Pietta vs Uberti. There is a significant price difference but it seems the Uberti may be worth it.
