I enjoy black powder shooting and once contemplated trying to build a pistol from scratch and came across this video.
This video was done in 1969, amazing how information was presented compared to the disclaimers a video like this would have today.
Wallace Gussler was a master of his craft(s). The video is about an hour long, but worth the watch.

I have watched this video and have saved it to my computer. He sure is a master and all the work was done as it would have been done back in the 1700's. Its a great video
