So I can get a regular rifle up there but no BP rifle. That doesnt make to much sense to me.

Not sure how to do that, but there will definitely be a range trip and hopefully some better targets to post than the last couple of outings. I am very excited to get the ladder sight on this rifle. Should be here mid-week then I'll be out in the shed one evening like a mad scientist fitting it to the rifle. I don't have a brass drift or punch, but I found a few .22 spent cases at the range that fit the end of my steel punch and should work for tapping out the old sight and tapping in the new one with my rubber hammer.
