BBS in .44mag

Post by 6MT » Mon Apr 06, 2020 4:59 pm

Has anyone changed out the tubular magazine on a Big Boy Steel in .44mag? Mine split where the lock tab slot is for the internal plunger. Henry has covered the part, but I'm not sure how to change it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, you're lucky being in the USA. Up here in Canada, sending it down there involves ridiculous paperwork and wait times. Not to mention outrageous shipping costs.

I'd bet a gunsmith could easily install it for you

I don't think it is difficult. I just need an exploded view of the rifle. Or someone to walk me through the procedure.

It is nice to hear others having the same issue. The warranty center here in Canada had no problem giving me the part free. I just needed to give them the rifle's serial number.

Hmm.....

BtW, here's a pic of the split end. It happened on the 84th round fired.
