Ron Swanson spends a fair number of working hours playing darts in his office, so it's conceivable that it's an authentic depiction. Then again, it could be an "easter egg" planted by the show's producers.

Either way, good catch!

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

What the heck you retired guys don't have anything better to do than eat fish take a nap and clean your toys. Life is good.
I retired almost 20 years ago. Took my watch & pager off, threw them in a drawer and haven't worn one since. I refuse to get "smart phone". If someone needs to get in touch I have an answering machine on my land line. I don't set the alarm clock either. Go to bed and get out of bed when I feel like it. Step out on the porch to shoot or harvest some game, make wood stuff, mow, tend a garden, or whatever else I want or need to do when I happen to run across a round toit.

Life is good.

Actually no. Plans are for people with time keeping devices and calendars. I often don't know what day of the week it is and don't care. ;)

You might be surprised at how much freedom you gain by ignoring time - especially the time imposed on you by other people. :)

Circling back to on topic; did the levers get cleaned? With all that shooting how bad were they?

The levers will have to wait until tomorrow.

Now that is a most interesting focus, Gunny. I used to collect unusual watches, but rarely wear one any longer. One of my favorites is a pocket watch I bought years ago in Moscow at a Berioshka shop. A beautiful piece of stainless workmanship, depicting a Russian folk tale on its cover. But after I hand wind it, admire it, and put it in my pocket, I promptly forget it's there!! ;) Maybe I have a small start on "ignoring time." Cool post.

Well, I suspect that some type of planning took place in order for you to retire 20 years ago and play with toys now. Most cases, them type of things just do not happen by accident. But, I could be wrong. In any case, have fun.
