Yikes! $740 for about 26" of what amounts to a Mare's leg .410!

That amount or less will buy a lot of other guns - including some classics that will retain or rise in value.

Realistically this 'Axe' (more like a pen knife) should not retail for more Than about $300.00 (comparing it to a Mossberg Shockwave which is a 12 gauge)

Its like anything......whats it worth to you???

Like I have said, seen people spend voluminous amounts of money on other trivial things. To each their own.

Does the smooth bore allow 2 1/2" .410 slugs?

I tend to agree and they even make a 410 version if that's what ya want.
Heck, for the price of the Henry you can get Two Shockwaves.
Twice the fun. And I'll bet you can empty the SW a lot faster also.
