Laminate not stocks?

Post by SingleAction357 » Fri Jan 05, 2018 2:36 am

Is there a source for Henry rimfire rifle stocks and forends that I could pay a maker to have made for the mares leg?

In some areas the mares leg is considered a hand gun and cannot be modified back to a rifle I think, but someone will come along.....

I would just have them lop it down to mares leg size for legal purposes, I do not intend to create an sbr.

I just want prettier and stronger aftermarket mare's leg grips I guess they'd be called.

if you know a gunsmith who you trust, I'd recommend asking him .... I've found that its there business to know sources from which they can quickly get parts .... they also usually know which sources have the best service, quality and pricing

I did inquire with Boyds if there's any way they could produce mare's leg grips, I have yet to here back but will report when I do.

Might be a little while, but I fully intend on making this mares leg a space cowboy gun.
