Thanks, guys, appreciate it. Obviously, I'm anxious to get it sighted in & see what she can do.
Oh, yeah! Once you have it sighted in, you're gonna be a happy camper. Didn't think I'd be scoping my levers; eyesight told me differently.

Honestly, I don't like the idea myself, but, the eyes have it as they
say. The old peepers ain't what they once was. So......

How close is your rear sight to the bell on the scope? With medium rings, I had to remove mine and install the dove tail fill in blank.
Good choice on scope and rings too. What load do you plan to dial it in with?

I used the high mount rings, close, but not touching.
My reloads are Hornady 300 gr.JHP, Starline brass, IMR4198
41grs, CCI LR primer. Works great

I went with the Freedom 1.5-4x20 and low rings.

John, I pondered on the ring height for quite a while. Couldn't find any specs on dimensions, etc. Wanted to keep it low, but my nerve
and my gut won out & went with the high rings. Good thing I did, or I'd have to remove the rear sight. All worked out, thankfully.
Nice looking rig you've got there also. Great choice.

Finally finished sighting in the scope, works well. But, I now have a yellow spot on my right shoulder that exactly matched the recoil pad. Imagine that, LOL.

Imagine that! Ah, you'll get used to that rifle. And I bet it's accurate.

I put quite a few rounds thru the beast, so guess it's partly my fault, but it was fun & it is accurate. I knew it was getting sore, but didn't notice the bruising 'til a day or so later. Oh, well, live to fight another day.
