Aimpoint H1 for a BB steel

i'm thinking of putting an Aimpoint H1 on my BB 44mag and was wondering if anyone has done this and if so which height mount i should get? i plan on getting the factory scope mount. any input on Aimpoints would help. thanks

we have an H1 on our Ruger Redhawk 44 .... it appears to have no problem handling the recoil which would be greater on the Redhawk than it is on our Henry .... the brighter the sunlight the shorter the effective range that I can see the red dot .... really like the H1 but am not sure I'd want it on a rifle .... for shooting steel cutouts it would be fine but for more precision target shooting, it would be tough to use at hundred yard +/- distances

I have a Truglo red dot on my BB steel in .357. Both Clovispup an I are very satisfied with it. We don't do long distance shots, mostly under 25 yds. It is undoubtedly more accurate at any distance than the stock sights.

I have one on my 40 super Glock with great results. Now my eyes are suffering from Astigmatism so I am selling my red dots.
