Evan, I was planning to try and answer earlier, but, going to Church, breakfast etc, a little late. Good to see our Henry brethren came in with some helpful posts. The thread about the "Winged" Skinner rear sight was what I was going to refer to. Good call. I'll be waitng for your results. Ought to be good. Actually, thinking those Weaver bases might be a very good, inexpensive alternative.
We'll see. The BBS has a longer, flat receiver, while the Brass has a "hump" at the forward part of the receiver, so I've got some figuring and potentially some jiggering to do. Have to get the rings in my hands before I can tell if it will work on the Brass 45 Colt Carbine.

It would definitely work on the BBS 357 and maybe the 30-30. More to come.

For sure the 30-30, since it's dimensionally the same as the Marlin 336. Might the Big Boy match up with the Marlin Model '94? I've never looked hard at either one, but they're both "short action" designs. Again, just wingin' it without checking first ;) .

Checked the Weaver "chart," and it's interesting that the Marlin 1894 is matched up with the 63B (one-piece), but they list no compatible 2-piece. There might be a reason, but, knowing nothing about Marlins, I couldn't tell you what it is.
