Nice job - that looks good. It appears Henry 357 barrels really are slightly smaller than 44 barrels....

Mine was so big I was using a flap wheel to take it down and was going to cold blue it, but it launched across my shop and I didn’t find it until long after going a different route. RPP refunded my money as I luckily took a photo of how big it was before I lost it. I called and discussed which size to order before buying. They are a great company to deal with, that’s for sure.

Mine was between 1/16” and 1/8” too wide on the base. After seeing Shoot(i)st’s photos, I’m pretty convinced I got the larger size. Mine was way too big, even though I ordered the .850 version.

I’m actually considering the RPP filler for my Marlin 1895GS along with their cloverleaf picatinny rail. Could be the thing that helps me dial in this blunderbuss! I really like their cloverleaf peep, but I have a 1-4x scope that could be great on this gun, and it’s got QD rings, so would work well with the picatinny.

My other option is the Skinner Guide Gun set, but the scope mount is appealing...
