3x Malcolm Scope for a Henry Rimfire
Several people asked me about my Malcolm scope. These two links will give you the best information. After reading them if you have any questions please ask. Mounting is where the most questions come from.

The adjustments are all made by moving the entire scope within the mount.

Love the scope and the mounts. A lot of people don't realize that scopes with internal adjustments are a relatively modern invention. External adjustment scope mount setups were fairly common well into the 1900s.
Here's our 1940-ish vintage Winchester 67 22 LR single shot that a previous owner had drilled and tapped for a Lyman 10x Target Spot scope and mounts with external adjustments. Gun didn't have the scope or mount when we bought it, but I recognized how the gun had been modified for the old style mount. A good friend at our range got me the scope and another shooting pal got me the mount.

Now that a few have read the links I’ll share my own views of the scope. For the most part it is all about the looks and this scope has it. The fit and finish is to the original even though slightly different.
As far as shooting it is not all that great. They say the glass is coated but it is coated to 1855 standards. Sitting beside a modern Leupold shows how little coating it has and how a modern coating wouldn’t look right.
It also sits too high and must be tapped lightly to make sure the tube is centered and the one springed post is not jammed.
Did I mention it looks neat? Cause that is about all it’s got going.

.
With what you did to the target you shot up, I'd think it has a little something going, smidgen beyond looking neat.
