Looks great. Well done. Running the same on my BBS & BBS carbine both 357's except I had a couple of the leupold Mark AR Mod 1's laying around that I threw on. Very similar optic though.

Seems like the thread that launched the HRF range towel movement will never die!

Nice trip down memory lane and thanks, KrzHorse, for your kind words!

Thank you for the thread and pictures. I just picked up my Henry BBS H012R and was looking for a scope setup because of my old eyes.

First off...welcome to the forum!
I am 65 and suffer the same problem. I too have a BBS357 and ended up putting a Weaver 1-3x20 scope on it.
It's all I need for the distances I will use it for.

It's always interesting to see the shelf life of some of these old threads. Glad to see it's still of benefit to new(er) owners.

The 357 seems to be one of the first (or 2nd) calibers that new Henry owners gravitate towards, and with good reason. It's such a fun, versatile load, reload and shoot (hunting or plinking).

Let's see the pics of where you end up, Atrox!

Evan, those Weaver Classic V 1-3x20mm are it! The one's we have on our .357Henry's are getting harder to find. If '88 looks for one, make sure it has "Japan" stamped on it. Those have very good glass.
Speaking of pink towels, mine is still tucked away in my wife's China cabinet. Thief!

Thanks, guys. Yeah, "finally," huh? Nice little set-up, and aesthetics matter, don't they (even though the deer don't care!)?

This reminded me of a funny as hell scene in the movie "My Cousin Vinny". I was going to post a link but the scene drops the "F" word a couple of times and being new here, I'm not sure if it would violate the forum rules. If you want to watch it just google - My cousin vinny deer hunting scene-
