I'm pretty old school, I admit, but I'd being going simple, basic and lightweight on that rifle: Leupold FXII 6X. As low tech as I could, on that nice classic levergun ;) .

If I were only shooting to 50 yards I would go with the FXII 6X but shooting out to 200 yards is better with a higher powered scope. I like 1x for each ten yards so a 20x would be perfect. The VX-6 3-18x44 fits that bill perfect. I'm heading to Cabela's later today and buy one if they have it in stock.
