Konus

Post by Teddy » Wed Dec 13, 2017 3:30 pm

Any one know about the Konus scopes, I think they are made in China but that's nothing new most scopes are.
I would like to scope my Henry H001L carbine, my old eyeballs not as good as they used to be. The other option
would be a peep sight not sure if those would be any better then the buck horn sights.
New guy here also, from northern IL.

They're a small outfit that markets a competitive value line of optics, a la Barska and other Chinese imports. Not sure I'd trust one on a heavy mag or a once in a lifetime hunt or competition shoot, but should be just fine on a rimfire. Have used a couple of their rimfire scopes and they were comparable to the better known Simmons 22 Mag, which is a decent budget scope, too.

Welcome to the forum from CT. North Country Gal knows about guns and shooting. I always listen when she speaks.

welcome fro another Northern ILL. guy. I just got SGR .22 that comes with Skinners. I could not be happier and my eyes are as old as dirt. I'll see if I still have my targets from my first shoot from about two weeks age and post them(now that I know how).

Try a Leupold. They are made in Oregon.
