Another Skinner Sight in the mix!

Post by Greyhawk » Sun Sep 15, 2019 1:17 pm

I decided to try a Skinner setup on my Marlin 1895ss. Here are the pic's... Took it to the range today. Good groups but 6" low at 50 yards, so I'll have to do some filing off of the front sight. Very satisfied so far! I went with the Skinner Express (black gold), A Bear Buster front sight and I went with the dovetail filler piece with a spot for an extra aperture.

I see a hammer extender. Was the rifle previously scoped?
Or do you just like the feel of the extender. I have one on my scoped BBS and aside from needing it with the scope, I kinda like the access feel.
