Nice set-up roddy. Not familiar with that Timber Wolf.

The Timber Wolf was produced back in the late 80s by Israel Military Industries, and imported by Springfield Armory. There were versions in .357 and .44. They have a 10 round tube magazine that is loaded from the bottom of the receiver like a shotgun, an adjustable stock, and a built in scope mount. They're well built, lightweight, easy handling, and accurate...if I could only keep 1 of my guns, this would be it.

The original intended purpose, believe it or not, was in law enforcement. Back in the 80s, a lot of coppers still carried .357 and .38 spl revolvers, and this carbine was meant as a special purpose trunk/companion rifle that would use the same rounds.

I went with a 3-9x40 Nikon Buckmaster for my .41mag BBSC, largely due to the cost ($120 from AAFES). Needed something to compensate for my old eyes, and Nikon makes good optics. It's not as aesthetic as the smaller scopes, but I don't much care about aesthetics on a hunting rifle anyway. :)

Bellum Omnium Contra Omnes is rapidly becoming a reality (11/2023). Para Bellum.

I don't know if sherman53 is still here, but, I forgot to mention the Weaver Classic V 1-3x22mm I put on mt BB brass .357.
It works perfectly.
