Vortex scope

Post by Bodanny » Tue Mar 26, 2019 5:44 pm

Well I may make some of y’all mad but I put scope on my cch 44 carbine . My eyes sight needed it and I want to be sure of a humane shot placement on the animal I harvest. It is a vortex 1x4x24 with lighted dot. I’m love the clarity and crosshairs really improves my accuracy. It is light weight and only 9.8 in long. The cc 44 carbine is beautiful even with scope. I’ll post picture

I forgot to mention it only took 3 shots to zero in @ 25 yards and was dead on at 50 yards and 2 in low at 100 yards. This scope is nice

Looks good
Well of course it does looks similar to my BBS 41.
Put the same scope on it, except I chose the one without the lighted reticle.

I wasn't saying a thing most of mine come out sideways.
Mark that's a carbine and the large loop is factory.
I had to add mine myself. ;)

.
Agree with how nice this scope is. I have the 1-6x24 Vortex Strike Eagle model on my .30-30 brass.

Oops! Forgot the large loop is standard on the carbine. Guess I just favor the large loop so seems to stand out. :D

They all look good to me. That's the configuration of scope I've used on my single shots, and will be what I'd use on a lever action, too. So far I've left the ghost ring peep my Henry 30-30 came with alone; but I know I don't shoot it as well as I would with a low power scope ;) .

Nothing wrong with putting a scope on your lever rifle, if you so desire.

Most folks who hunt like optics on their rifles for better accuracy. I ended up with a Nikon and a Vortex on both my Henrys.

If you don't like glass on your lever, that's fine too. Choices are good.
