sometimes you leave yourself wide open for a zinger come back. But I will hold my tongue (er fingers) from saying anything more.

They also did a bullet cam video a while back.

On the Cobra video, they had me wondering for a little bit.

There is, I think, humor here which does not translate well from English to sanity. - Sanya
Re: Vortex scope
I do not think it matters if you put a scope on a lever action Henry, it looks good either way. I just put a Simmons whitetail 1.5-5x20 on mine and I think it looks fine.
I think the problem comes with attaching a huge high power scope to what is usually a gun used at less than 200 yards, that does look strange. Whatever you have to say about pistol calibre lever action rifles they have a trajectory like a banana and are not generally minute of angle shooters so an overpowered scope looks out of place.

I agree Firefly. My thoughts were the same when I mounted my small Weaver on my BBS 357.
I went with a black leather lever wrap as well. Yours looks very nice!

Re: Vortex scope
Thank you for posting this. I found your pose just after a gun smith suggested the very same scope for my 357 All weather. Seeing a picture of it on a Henry sells it for me even more. The gun store I spoke to said when I am ready to purchase that they will mount and bore sight for free as long as I purchase from them.
