Our 357 BBB has a Skinner Express on the rear and a .495" Lyman Globe on the front - provides a much improved sight picture than the stock buckhorn/brass dot setup.

The Skinner sights are excellent and easy to fit, I recently bought a .44 big boy that is fitted with a marbles tang sight that also works well.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

My .44 BBB has had the front sight replaced so instead of a brass bead it has a red fibre optic sight, combined with the rear marbles tang sight that I have or any other aperture sight the sight picture is very easy to acquire. I agree that the longer sight radius achieved by mounting a receiver or tang sight gives better accuracy than replacing the barrel buckhorn sight with an aperture sight, although a barrel mount aperture is a lot better than a barrel mount buckhorn or semi buckhorn sight. Especially for those of us with aging eyes.
