I have a 1-4 Leupy 1" version of their Pig Plex. Super light and very small. Plus the 1x with German #4ish type reticle makes for a kinda sorta reflex sight should needs be.
The perfect thing to make scoping a levergun(BBAW) for old eyes a l'il less offensive.
Gonna try the Warne QD rings on it and see if they compare at all with the LaRue. Which would be just too bulky up there.
It ain't gotta be all that, but minute of pig repeatability is required. d;^)

Weaver 1-4 on mine. A bit less pricey and a true 1X so you can shoot with both eyes open at low power.

I was thinking about one of those for my Marlin 1894. You like it okay? I think it takes 30 mm rings.

.
Love it. But if I had a do-over and the additional $ I should have gotten the 1-8x version (I think better for 100+yds). The The Voxtex Strike Eagle® 1-8x24 Riflescope. Yes a pair of 30mm rings for Picatinny rail. I bought medium rings (0.97in. high). After the fact, I could have gone low (0.83in.) and the objective of the scope would still had clearance to the buckhorn sights, which I did not remove. Ring height choices here: http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vor ... e-ring-low But, they can be gotten on amazon for a few bucks less. I can move the scope further forward by rotating the Picatinny rail so that it cantilevers over the barrel a little bit. Vortex has a cantilever ring/mount that I also bought but didn't use cause the scope height was too high (1.5in.).
