Hey all, just purchased a Henry long ranger in the 6.5 creedmore and having trouble finding a scope base for it. Does anyone know what fits it besides the $73 one that's offered on the Henry website? Thanks, Dave

For $28 you can get a 2 piece Skinner mount. These came with the purchase of my Long Ranger. The unsighted Long Ranger has "Swivel Studs, Hammer Extension and Scope Mount Included". We don't get these extras with the sighted Long Ranger.

I deleted Weaver 63B reference in my earlier response. Henry specs provide conflicting information as of this date.
Their website says Weaver 63B for the Long Ranger, however the Long Ranger owners manual says Weaver 82. My Long Ranger matches my owners manual.
Also the HEGW14PR mount Henry sells for the Long Ranger doesn't have the hole spacing of the Weaver 63B. So when looking for a 3rd party alternative look for Weaver 82.

Thanks for the responses. I had the 63B and it did not fit which is what they show on the Henry website. Gave up trying to buy local and ordered from Henry. Dave
