Mounted the Leupold VX Freedom Rimfire 2-7x33 on my Big Boy .327 this morning and the rifle and scope paired nicely. Even using low rings the scope cleared the rear sight by a comfortable margin. That being said, I don’t think I will need a hammer extension as there is plenty of clearance to manipulate the hammer as is. Also it looks like I will get an adequate cheek weld but bench time will be needed to finalize that conclusion. Lines up fine just shouldering the rifle. Next week is supposed to be cold but sunny so I may get out to the range then.

My 327 wears a leupold 2-7 rimfire in fact all my levers wear rimfire scopes I prefer the shorter parallax setting.

That’s comforting, I really struggled with the decision as it is against the “norms”. I did get lots of good advice on both scopes from the members tho....

That came together rather nice. Ought to work nice at the range also. Good call.
