I've never been a collector of any type of firearm that wouldn't put to everyday use .... to me, our CCH 45-70 is about as close as I get to buying a fancy looking firearm .... that said, I sure do enjoy looking at them .... I really respect the concept behind producing this modified Colt and the skill it takes to do it .... thanks for posting the link

Me, too. Beautiful work and I do appreciate it, but that's a lot of money to invest in gun just to look at it. My tastes in 1911s, especially, runs very conservative. Be insane for someone to actually go out and shoot it.
