Well, cool and lots of variety, but hardly authentic. Much of it is wrinkle free Permapress synthetic blend materials and the gunslinger leather is pure Hollywood. And dummy Colt and cartridges.....

Very sorry that I posted the link. My apologies.

My reason for posting the link is because some are interested in SASS and just might be interested in where to find something related to western wear that they might be interested in regardless if or not they are authentic. I was in SASS but I never did worry about what Calamity might think about what I was wearing.

Actually, the site was very interesting. I can understand they sell replica firearms and dummy rounds for those who like to make home movies or own the replicas, but sell the gear for those who own actual firearms as well.

Often people appreciate a look replicated, without the inconvience. Take those rebuilding antique cars who updatd wiring, improve engines, add air, ... Whats the term... Retro-mod?

You keep the feel and look of the old but add some much needed upgrades.
Cool with it.

I really liked the mad professor and a couple of the other mens getups. They wouldn't work for an old fat guy, but they were great.

The cotton duck canvas suspender pants are tough. Wear ‘em long hours in the saddle and have for years. Way more comfortable than jeans. I usually get mine from Wild West Mercantile. Not just drugstore cowboys wearing them I guess...

I didn’t check all but all the ones I checked were 100% cotton.

Most of their stuff is cotton. Shirts too. Some, not all, are period correct. Have to know your stuff when looking. River Junction Trading company is another good one.

It’s true though that these are not the places to buy period correct gun leather. Need to go to custom shops usually for that. The drop style buscadero holsters are Hollywood stuff.
