I am having trouble with the quick links. Both computers.
I have had issues with it for a while, especially on the kindle fire. Thought it was the kindle.
So.. I didn't want to whine.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Sounds like an attempted ransomware login intercept. You might want to read this thread starting about page 4 or even the whole topic from the beginning.

I just logged in and got a message that said there was a data breach and I should change my password asap.

Have you checked your ISP? If you are running wifi (Which I have to do because I am so remote) when traffic gets heavy on the repeater it slows down the ISP, especially around holidays.

If you are having trouble with other sites as well, it could be slow data speeds due to traffic.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Shouldn't be a problem with the typical in-home wifi router connection to the ISP.
Peak time bandwidth limitations are known to occur with Comcast/Xfinity, Cellular based WiFi, DSL and Neighborhood WiFi setups. Some cities and HOAs provide the latter. DSL setups are bandwidth limited by the slow speeds inherent to DSL.

Regardless, the glitches folks having with this forum wouldn't be caused by bandwidth limitations. Bandwidth problems would be noticed as slow webpage loads regardless of website visited.

One of the gremlins can be put to rest. The offset click zone for "Quick Links" was caused by where in the html webpage code the Santa's hat webpart was placed. A bug in the admin tool for managing webparts.
