The Marshal is watching. Let's not go there.

I dropped my membership some years back.
Got sick and tired of all the phone calls always wanting more money.
Like the GOA, much better.

That's another reason why I like year to year membership. I hesitated to rejoin the 2nd year many years ago and when they called, I told them that they wasted all my money on mailings and I get too many phone calls. They put me on a "reduced" list. For some reason now, I hardly get any and the ones I do get are a little interesting.

I let my membership lapse this year for a number of reasons and my phone seems to have been blowing up ever since. I never answer a call from a number I don't recognize and occasionally I'll do a reverse look-up, just so I can block the obvious spam/robocalls. The vast majority have been from private, "safe" numbers, so I assume it's at least partly recruitment calls.
Will look into GOA. NRA seems to be a mess right now.

I’ve joined three times over many years, and each time I let it lapse due to the constant mailings and demands for my attention. If there was a way to completely stop that, I would join and stay joined. I did like the American Rifleman. I agree that Wayne seems to be a little unhinged.

Ask like I did. It's worth a try. My try worked.

In the meantime, I just got an E-mail that North is out as President.

I'm not real sure what that means at this point.

I also let my membership lapse years ago. I kind of got tired of them. I'll have to look into the GOA too.
