Probably just taking some time to think things through. I am concerned about Dutch, though..................

I have a real close friend here in Colorado who has gone thru the same thing. I have lost 2 wives myself. I lost my first one at the age of 24. The second one I was in my 50's. I cant imagine being married to the same woman for 30 plus years and losing one at an age that its tough to recover from. At least I was able to restart. I hope Sir Henry is ok and returns soon. I always look forward to reading his post. Al

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Sir Henry is still thinking of us. He is trying to work through his terrible loss.

I hope that SH is okay too.

I know what it is like to be married to someone for over 30 years and losing him to cancer too.

I hope that Dutch is okay too.

We have lost some more people in our lives recently. (I am a remarried widow.)

We have had some close friends who are seriously ill and need healing.

Prayers up for those in need, in severe pain and illness and during their sad times.

May God help all of these people in their time of need no matter what it is.

Love and blessings to all of you here.

Sincerely,

Cate

We were a month short of our 43rd anniversary when Donna passed away and I feel lost without her. I haven't been shooting much since February and might not shoot again till this fall. I spend my days working on the house and yard. Matter of fact I'm putting in lots of work on the place mostly in the yard now that the weather is nice. I'm still hiking but not at the pace I was going.

I hope Dutch is okay.

Good to hear from you Gene, you know what's best for you.
You and Dave gave this forum a good foundation. The spark that you lit with so many interesting threads has spread to many members.
So we will keep the lights on or the campfires lit.
Look forward to hearing from you again when you have the time.
