This forum hasn't been around but about six months and already we are over 19 thousand posts. The old forum had about the same when it went down but it took several years to reach that total. Seems like we are doing good.

It doesn't surprise me at all! It's a great Forum, with lots of very knowledgeable members, so I'm sure it will continue to grow in popularity. I for one am very glad to have found it! :D

Interesting, informative, educational and fun. Nice people. And no politics, which I certainty do not miss. There are other forums to frequent should I choose to try to understand my least favorite subject.

I sometimes miss the politics but not much.

I agree with you, Dutch.

I'm so glad this forum refrains from political and religious topics! A few years ago, as a novice shooter and aspiring hunter, I joined a local CT forum that I thought would offer helpful advice and instruction. And, though it did do that, I nonetheless had to leave it because of the superfluous, overwhelming, and vitriolic political posts that seemed way too menacing and that were deeply troubling to both my mind and spirit.

This forum is a breath of fresh air. :)

Breath deep!

It is a pleasant site and one doesn't need to fear of asking questions and being put down. On some sites God forbid you ask something that had been discussed six months or a year earlier. Instead of a five word answer or advise you get two paragraphs on searching the topic. This forum is friendly, supportive and respectful of others. Thanks for all the hard work behind the scenes.
