Time for our first contest

Post by daytime dave » Wed Jul 13, 2016 3:24 pm

It's time for our first contest. This will hopefully be an easy one.

If you are interested in winning, just say so in this thread. Here's the catch. You must post ten more posts by the rest of the month to remain eligible.

You will be assigned a number and I will use a random number generator to pick the winner. If you have posted at least ten more posts, you win. Just posts is all you need. Please try to do more than a one liner. We will place your number and post count in your response. Remember to say you want to be in the contest in your post in this thread.

For this contest, I will exempt the "staff" from winning. (Sorry fellas, the large salary should compensate somewhat)

This month's prize is donated by Henry Repeating Arms. It will be a Coffee mug and a sling.

Good luck.

Heck, I could make 10 posts before going to bed.

Count me in.

Are we talking about replies, or new threads?

You are number one and your post count is 125

On his best days, it's a few more than that! He may not be eligible, though. Good thing.

On the Ruger forum I was sometimes posting a hundred a day but my average was only about 35. 8-)

Great idea, Dave, and will be fun to see who the first winner is!!

I'm not in this go-around. I have very nice (and much-used) Henry mug as a gift from Anthony Imperato, and I bought a "Quiver" from Skinner to carry my SGC whenever at the range. Now if the prize were say a Henry .22LR Pump (model H003T), I would re-consider my participation!!

Looking forward to seeing more & more Forum posts! ;)

That's an interesting opportunity , however I usually don't post just to run up the count. I feel if I can't make an intelligent addition to the subject at hand, then I will just read and enjoy. Good luck to all.

If intelligence was required to post, there would only be a handful on this whole forum! :o :D
